How long have you been in business?
Hindsight opened in 1992 but I have been in the insurance biz since 1983
What is your primary product or service?
We specialize in Commercial Small Business Insurance.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We wanted to help business owners grow their businesses with the right coverage at a fair price. Most businesses are either over or under insured. Risk management consultation is a key component of what we like to do. After 30 years in the business this is my background although I had a previous career in real estate.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We spend a lot more time with our clients than most agents. We try to make their risk factors and insurance coverage understandable.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Offices in 2 locations, Concord and Novato, CA We are also opening a branch office near Sacramento
Provide detailed directions to your location
From I-680 take the Willow Pass Rd exit. Head East on Willow Pass Rd. for 2 miles. We are on the left between Colfax St. and East St.
What type of payments do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Which areas do you service?
We insure businesses throughout California and Nevada.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Mark Hinds, Owner and CEO.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Evenings and week-ends by appointment.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Referring a friend.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Service above self. (As a past President of the Rotary Club of Pleasant Hill I have always found Rotary’s official motto to be succinctly appropriate.)
